RARE works across multiple thematic areas to promote inclusive, sustainable and equitable development for vulnerable communities. Our interventions are designed to create long-term social impact through innovation, participation and collaboration.

RARE promotes the inclusion, dignity and independence of persons with disabilities through community-based rehabilitation, early intervention, assistive support, inclusive education, skill development and livelihood opportunities while advocating equal rights and accessibility.

We work to safeguard children's rights by preventing child labour, child marriage, abuse, neglect and trafficking. Our initiatives strengthen child protection systems, promote education and create safe, child-friendly communities.

RARE empowers women and adolescents through leadership development, life skills education, health awareness, gender equality initiatives, financial literacy, entrepreneurship support and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Our consumer protection initiatives create awareness about consumer rights, encourage responsible consumption, support grievance redressal mechanisms and promote transparency and accountability in public and private services.

We improve community health through nutrition education, maternal and child healthcare, sanitation, disease prevention, awareness campaigns and strengthening access to quality healthcare services.

RARE strengthens grassroots democracy by promoting participatory governance, Panchayati Raj institutions, community planning, social accountability, capacity building and citizen engagement for inclusive development.

Our migration programmes support safe and dignified migration through awareness, skill development, legal assistance, livelihood generation, social security linkages and protection of migrant workers and their families.

We promote sustainable livelihoods through agriculture, natural resource conservation, water management, forest protection, climate-resilient farming, skill development and income-generating opportunities for rural communities.

RARE builds resilient communities by promoting climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness, capacity building, sustainable environmental practices and rapid humanitarian response during disasters.

We promote and protect human rights by raising awareness, supporting vulnerable communities, strengthening access to justice, advocating equality and encouraging active participation in democratic processes.

RARE conducts surveys, baseline studies, impact assessments, action research and evidence-based documentation to support policy advocacy, programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and sustainable development initiatives.
